A 13A point for a desk, TV console, kitchen appliance, or a new cabinet run. In HDB flats this stays within licensed-contractor rules for electrical works — we file what HDB requires when the job needs a permit.
A new lighting point for a downlight, pendant, or wall lamp where there is no point today. If you are changing the whole ceiling as part of a reno, that is quoted with the renovation, not as a small job.
Water-heater isolators, oven / hob / hood points, and similar dedicated outlets. These are not a standard 13A socket and should be run as the right circuit, not piggy-backed off the nearest point.
Replacing a downlight, wall lamp, or a worn switch. Bring the new fitting if you have already bought one; we can say if the existing point will take it.
Whole-flat rewiring, consumer-unit upgrades as part of a reno package, smart-home design, or aircon electrical. Aircon goes to aircons.sg on the same WhatsApp number. Full electrical as part of a renovation is quoted with HDB, condo or landed work. A leaking tap is plumbing.
HDB: Electrical alterations that need a renovation permit are applied for by a licensed contractor. Licence No. HB-09-5667H. Working hours follow HDB rules (weekdays 9am–6pm, Saturdays 9am–1pm; no work on Sundays and public holidays).
Condo: Management often wants contractor particulars and a deposit before anyone enters. We follow that block's MCST house rules.
Landed: Indoor small electrical call-outs are fine here. Whole-house rewires, extensions and structural A&A are landed renovation.
